“Non-accidental rendevouz and unforeseen aspirations…”
Most of the extraordinary things happen not because someone want or doesn’t want for them to happen. They happen thanks to their inevitability, like the forces of nature. Just like love of thunder, that’s the way the nature works.

Khamdamov painted this image thousand times over. It is almost the only one – most important. Like a Stranger in Block's poem, incarnated transparent sorrow...
 
The paintings of Khamdamov, are not paintings at all. They are something different... Dream of infinite motion? Wind, spinning the leaves? Traces of rain? Lace of a rime? String touched unintentionally? Dream?
Looking at the pencil lines made up by a magic hand of the artist and you understand that you are diving into his motion, without emotions, without the desire to uncover mystery, decipher his secret code... you are just looking, simply to see, because you can’t look away.

“Yes, I worked on the production of Rustam Khamdamov’s “Unexpected Joys” movie, as a photographer. Upon completing the work, I gave all the films to the studio. But, I also took pictures of the actresses, outside the set, for myself. These are not the shots from the movie.” Alexander Samoylov.
